Horace Dubois and Margaret C. Miller Dubois Married just before 1880

38. Horace DuBois was born in 1853 in Wales, New York which is just outside of East Aurora and not far from Buffalo. He was married to Margaret C. Miller sometime before 1880. At the time of the 1880 census, Horace was living with his 6th month old baby Margaret, Georgianna's Mom Mary, and Mary's Father Patrick Carpenter. I hope they were ok.

5 years later he remarried to a woman named Luella and had a passel of other children, 5 sons and 2 daughters.

He died in East Aurora NY in 1922.

Margaret C. Miller {Maggie) was born in 1859 or 1860 in Wales New York. Her father died when she was likely less than a year old. She and her mother then lived with her mother's parents, Patrick and Jane Carpenter. 10 years later in 1870, her mom seems to have bought a house and they lived there together. Ten years later, she had died, possibly from complications of childbirth, as she died about a month after her daughter Margaret M. was born.
