George Mowry was born in Racoon Township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania in 1807. He was a farmer as were most of his family members. He died in 1865 in Bremer county Iowa. He must have gone to Iowa after Tillinghaste was born, sincc T was born in Pennsylvania.

Martha/Aletha/Alletha Carl was born in 1808 in Ohio.
